Excellent book for an Android Newbie

I recently purchased a tablet and with it came the Android 4.0 operating system. As a long-time Windows user, I was in a deeeep information hole. When I asked the tablet salesman about books that would supplement the tab's manual, she breezily replied, "It's so intuitive, you really don't need anything else"!. For an old dog, learning new tricks, I can say that she was wrong!!!
The Rough Guide to Android Phones and Tablets was EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. The material is simple to understand, the illustrations and the information very clear and timely and it has been up-dated so that even the most recent apps have been reviewed. I could not ask for a better primer for Android.
The vendor was great to deal with, obviously professional, using mailing material that protected the book from any damage whatsoever. The price and time service was excellent as is always the case with Amazon and I would not hesitate to buy again from the vendor, or from Amazon. An excellent experience, all around.

The 'Missing Manual' for Android devices

Keeping this review short as I am writing on an Android phone. This is an excellent guide to setting up your device and finding best in class apps, and learning how to use them. A curious omission is how to set up printing to a WiFi or wired printer. I strongly recommend the Printer Share app from the Google Play site (formerly Anroid Market).
